WEDNESDAY'S COLLEGE ROUNDUP: SCC men battle back for victory

Southeastern Community College's men's basketball team trailed most of the first half, but battled back for an 89-86 season-opening victory over Marshalltown at Marshalltown Wednesday night.

With 4:08 left in the first half, SCC's Gavin Kies passed to Dakhari Lewis, who scored a layup to tie the score at 31-all. Just 22 seconds later, Koby Isaac nailed a 3-pointer to give the Blackhawks the lead.
